Those days when the laundry is piled high, the bills piled higher, and the plan shot to pieces.
Those days when your emotions are fragile, your mind is on overload, or your heart is broken.
Those days you’d rather crawl under a rock, pull the covers over your head, or go off the grid.
Those days when you are soul aching, bone crushing tired—and it’s not even noon.
Those days when everything goes wrong from the moment your toes hit the floor until your head hits the pillow.
Those days when you feel as though you have no friends, no talent, and no purpose.
Those days you believe no one understands.
Those days you contemplate leaving your spouse, putting the kids up for adoption, and quitting your job.
Yeah, God enters those days. He moves and grooves in those days. He uses those days. He lays with you in the mess on those days.
He moves and grooves on those days. He uses those days. He swoops down and lays with you in the mess on those days.
Every day He wants you to know the relentless love of Jesus deep in your bones.
Every day, He wants you to cling to these truths:
(Say them out loud with me, won’t you?)
I am complete in Christ (Colossians 2:9-10)
I have direct access to the throne of grace through Jesus Christ. (Hebrews 4:14-16)
I am free from condemnation. (Romans 8: 1-2)
I can be assured that God works for my good in all your circumstances. (Romans 8:28)
I am free from condemnation brought against me and cannot be separated from the love of God. (Romans 8:31-39)
I can be confident that God will complete the good work He started in me. (Philippians 1:6)
I have not been given a spirit of fear but of power, love, and sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7)
I’ve wanted to quit. I’ve not believed Your truth.
I’ve wronged You and I’m sorry.
Consume me and use me.
Never let me forget who I am in You.
